It's Okay

Written at 1:55pm on 1/29/13, this is a sequel to "Two Choices".

I understand now,
I get it all
It's always a risk,
When you fall

Sometimes it doesn't work
And that's okay
The course of life,
Doesn't allow things to stay

The status quo,
Will always change
But sometimes our lives
Need to be rearranged.

There are many courses,
For this path
We just need to tread carefully,
And be mindful of the aftermath

It hurts a bit,
And will continue that way to be
But There's already a purpose,
In this that I see

What I wanted,
I could not have
Sometimes it doesn't work

But it's okay,
I'm okay
It will all be okay,
And that is all there is to say

I wanted a better ending,
Or so better at the time it seemed
But now I know I cannot fight
The play of my life that is themed

I know you
and I'll miss you
I see this is how it ends

But it's not the ending really, it's just how this chapter ends
We'll be friends forever, I feel it in my soul
It's nice to have you here now
Now go on, achieve your goals

I know I mixed at least 2 different styles of writing into this, but I went with what felt right- with what flowed.
