Diary of "a" GirlA Poem by Fuego31Written on 1/17/13 at around 10:50pm. This poem isn't about anyone in particular, it's just my observation
I look at you all
And you think I'm a complete stranger to you I look at your faces, I see the effort you made to feel pretty this morning I see the pain in your heart The fear in your eyes When you realize I see what's beneath You're afraid I hear the rumble in your stomach Because you refuse to eat You think I'll catch a glimpse of the marks If your skin shows for even a second Will I notice the exhaustion Always lingering in your heart Wondering if you'll ever be enough Never realizing you're more than anyone deserves No one will notice what you go through Because they're too busy with themselves, right? I spend every moment wishing I could hold you feeding you that endless embrace making you feel like the pretty girl that God made you You always feel alone Because no one could possibly understand you even in a crowd Even through the words I say It's okay It's going to be okay I will be there with you ready to catch you when you fall I love you It's time to love yourself I'm here for you © 2013 Fuego31Author's Note
