Let Me Break?

After looking through Yahoo! Answers and talking to a depressed friend, this is just how I felt. I wrote this 11/27/12 8:53-8:59pm

With each word
I give you more of myself
I drain my energy
So that you may have more
More to survive
More to be happy
More to just live

But it comes at a price

The price is my energy
The energy of my personality
The thoughts flying through my head
I do the best I can
Is it enough for you?

I always say that I'll stand by you
I will stand here until God prevents me from doing so
It's like an oath
I won't break it
But it might break me

So my question for you is
Will you let me break?
Will you let me fall?
I've kept you from falling
Can you do the same?
I may break
I may snap

Please,
Just be there for me
That's all I need
Be there as I have
and I can live
I need you
Or I will break
Will you let me break?

I know it's really poorly structured, but I wrote it in here as I came up with it, which was a first (normally I hand write them first). So bear with me please. Ignore grammar

Structure is never needed to write a great poem, I actually personally prefer free verse and I relate to this, talking to negative people gives you negative thoughts
