Logical EmotionA Poem by Fuego31I over-think everything
When you want someone,
The emotion fills you The work is never done, There's always more flirting to do Without the desire, There's nothing in your heart No one to admire Nothing romantic to start The emotion is gone, Your heart is empty You feel alone, Instead of blissfully hazy No more ecstasy, Only dull logic Fizzles out the fantasy leaving a wall of brick What's the point to emotion? What the point of falling? It leaves you over and done There is no Love a'calling Maybe it's a good thing, All for the better Otherwise it's just in my mind Waiting to rot and fester © 2013 Fuego31Author's Note
