It Ends

It Ends

A Poem by Fuego31
"

I wrote this in the summer of 2010 after breaking up with my girlfriend.

"
From the moment you realize it,
It's a painful pit in your stomach
You try to ignore it,
Because you want Everything to be okay
You want to be happy,
You want her to be happy
But every instinct is going against letting things be as they are
Every visit increases the guilt,
Because you are lying about your happiness
You thought it would be good for a while,
Because having you makes her happy
But what about you?
What makes YOU happy?
face it, you need to break up with her
The days turned to weeks have led to this
I'm so scared,
I can hardly come to terms with the truth
Come on! Be a man!
It will only get worse for you from here                 (the stress eats me from the inside out)
Just make the call,
It will all get easier
I'm sorry, I need to be single
She doesn't understand
I explain
Eventually it ends

I realize that the one thing
I will miss...is the kiss

I really love the natural flow of thoughts... a taste of desperation, anguish, confusion, and so much passion inside still remaining.. you could even be more liberal with this... just let everything out. great work.

Sometimes I just write on random imagination and thoughts, but I mostly write what's inspired by my strongest emotion at that given moment. I've been been writing since I was 13 and I'm currently 24. .. more..
