Eagle's Search

A Poem by Fuego31
"

This was the poem that started my, shall we say, creativity. I was 14 when I wrote it and just one day had a random thought about it.

"
Soaring through a cloudless sky,
I search for food with watchful eye,
As the air smells fresh and sweet,
I look for something good to eat
I spot a rodent with light fur,
So I fly down to it in a blur
As it escapes my grasp,
I disappointedly gasp
So hungry that I could cry,
I spread my wings and continue to fly

You can analyze and give reactions, but please don't critique it. I write most of my poetry on impulse and do not correct it later as I believe that would ruin the original feel.

It doesn't matter that this is an early work. It's great in it's simplicity and honesty. I remember writing similar poetry. So this has a strange nostalgic feel for me.

About
Sometimes I just write on random imagination and thoughts, but I mostly write what's inspired by my strongest emotion at that given moment. I've been been writing since I was 13 and I'm currently 24. .. more..
