Your love is the enemyA Poem by Poetry CatSomeone who loves somebody as much as love can extend but that person goes through too much pain and weary to hold the tie that means the world. We meet as the tension dares us close. Sleeping under the stars; Not knowing I would end up being morose. You were as beautiful as mars. Although, in the end, there would be scars. You were my person. We were drawn by the love of cigars. Our ties began to worsen. I have put in too much exertion. © 2022 Poetry CatReviews
