Forsaken

Forsaken

A Poem by Poetry Cat
"

The one true love lives thousands of miles away.

"
Tears stream down my face.
The barrier, a different place.
Never long distance.
The length is a menace.
The world is full of fate.
My happiness is in a gate.
Every six months.
It's only ever once.
The feeling of love;
Is dangled above.
And when I reach;
It reacts as if it's a breach.
Sadness is overwhelming.
It feels as if my heart is melting.
