Check Behind the CurtainsA Poem by Taylor<3Don't judge her by her looks, they're just a petty facade. A curtain to hide behind, a rug to lurk under. Somewhere beneath those beautiful eyes lies something left to wonder.
Sure she's graceful, yes she's clean, but what if everything isn't always as it seems? The world has secrets she does to, Something painful she'll never show to you.
She'll walk and talk, and make you believe. She's just fine, you must be seeing things. Her life is all very well, she drives a nice new car. Her house is paid for and lovely too, and on the surface if you just glance you'll see what she wants you to.
But don't be fooled by this pretty scene, it's just an act, superficial make believe. © 2008 Taylor<3Reviews
