Transient Delight for M'lady Emma joyA Poem by poeticpiersa poem in tripletsTransient delight. Sunlight reflecting from wet leaves. Sometimes by accident achieves. Surrealistic light effects. Altering very easily The range of colours we can see Creating prisms which can reflect. All the colours of the rainbow A medley of translucent glows. Caused by their power to refract And split the simple rays of sunlight. Into colours sure to delight Each human eye which they attract. Evaporating in the sun The raindrops reign is quickly done. So short a time to interact. If you are lucky you may see. The rainbow colours perfectly. I can assure you this is fact. Saturday, 23 June 2012 © 2012 poeticpiers |
