Wishful thinking FactionA Poem by poeticpierstetrameter SonnetWishful thinking. The far horizon marked by trees Which ruffled by each passing breeze Appear to mark a boundary Dividing fact from fantasy. What lies beyond I do not know It is too far for me to go I have a disability Which limits my mobility. I am confined to my wheel chair. There is no way I can get there. So I resort to fantasy. Imagine what lies beyond the trees A place where all my dreams come true Where I can walk as I used to. Monday, 18 June 2012 © 2012 poeticpiers |
