Hope never dies.A Poem by poeticpierspoem in tripletsHope never dies. The morning mists that lingers on. Long after it should be gone. Evaporates before the sun. Who rises up in majesty. The mist will clear so men can see. The sunlight sparkling on the sea. The morning mist no longer hides. The ever flowing restless tides From those who walk the waterside. Beachcombers searching hopefully For any treasure there might be. The sea abandoned carelessly. They seek but very rarely find The riches that they have in mind Although their dreams are ill defined. They still search conscientiously Just in case today might be. Their lucky day quite possibly. Monday, 09 April 2012 © 2012 poeticpiers |
