Dawn ‘til Dusk

The autumn night was dark and cold.

When morning breaks light from the east

Swiftly spreads across the empty wolds.

Welcomed alike by man and beast.

The working man will break his fast

Although he rose reluctantly.

The animals now night has passed

Will be turned loose to wander free.

The sun will move across the sky

As usual from East to West

At noon day when the sun is high.

It’s time to take a break and rest.

The sun will reach his journeys end

Then once again night will descend
