Who needs a shrink?

Who needs a shrink?

Who needs a shrink?

I’m not distressed, I’ve been destressed.

The therapy that suits me best.

I find is writing poetry.

It somehow serves to set me free.

Though what I write reflects my mood

I have no doubt it does me good.

If am down and feeling blue

It only takes a verse or two.

Before I start to recognise.

That sitting moping isn’t wise

I paste a smile upon my face

Then I rejoin the human race.

I have no reason to be sad.

Quite possibly I never had.
