Ever changing scenery

Ever changing scenery

A Poem by poeticpiers
"

terameter sonnet

"

Ever changing scenery.

The desert bathed in pale moonlight.

Seems to be waiting patiently.

The wind that blows throughout the night

Can sculpt the sand dunes stealthily.

The sun will rise at break of day

Upon a subtly altered scene.

It’s not the same as yesterday

Or any day there’s ever been.

Each new day is different

from any day that’s gone before.

A long established precedent

I’m sure will last for evermore.

The sand dunes moving constantly

By night in total secrecy.
