Subway

Subway

A Poem by Kollin Lore

Riding 'neath the city

down the only path i know

It's about where i'm heading

No one cares about my name

it feels like i am moving fast

yet, everyday is the same

...thus time moves slow

the people who ride with me

they come and they go

they never stay

they break off, to go their own way

they never stay

it's hard to go their way

the story of my life

what's your story about?

i got my own struggles

but it's you that i worry about

Please

Stay

Change me

Let me go your way.

I've never been on a subway, but I imagine the way you described it is exactly how it is. You gave a great description about how there's so much people, and yet you seem to barely ever even get acknowledge among them. And I think you used the subway for symbolism, also. The subway, "it's hard to go their way
The story of my life" was obviously the 'life', and it showed how everyone goes their way, leaving different people and unknown things. Yet it's always the same, and the 'person' craves for someone to invite them when they leave the sub. I really liked your method of symbolism, and the poem was kept together well, great job!
