CocktailA Poem by Aishwarya KamathWhen we look back today, what we see behind is a mixture of sweet and saline memories. We just need to keep a balance of both in our lives so that it tastes good :) Leave your comments on this one.Hey traveler, Look back and peep into your
past journey. Squint your eyes to the
farthest of views See the distance you have
covered Push yourself a little
further; ride the horse of time. Hover your hands up in the air;
collect the honey of laughter dripping Call it your places of sweet
memories Bend a little lower then;
scoop the salt of sorrows twitching Call it your places of
tearful stories. Spot the imprints from the
marks left on course Grab the grass that grows
above; Seal it in a jar of present. Call it your place of growth
and experience. On the way back to now; dip
a stick in the rainbow of glee. Pour the honey, sprinkle the
salt and chop the grass in a glass. Decorate it with the rainbow
stick and top it with cherry of smile. Mix it all and gulp it down;
feel the roller-coaster. Taste of this life’s
cocktail will call you for some more. © 2016 Aishwarya KamathReviews
