![]() CocktailA Poem by Aishwarya Kamath![]() When we look back today, what we see behind is a mixture of sweet and saline memories. We just need to keep a balance of both in our lives so that it tastes good :) Leave your comments on this one.![]() Hey traveler, Look back and peep into your
past journey. Squint your eyes to the
farthest of views See the distance you have
covered Push yourself a little
further; ride the horse of time. Hover your hands up in the air;
collect the honey of laughter dripping Call it your places of sweet
memories Bend a little lower then;
scoop the salt of sorrows twitching Call it your places of
tearful stories. Spot the imprints from the
marks left on course Grab the grass that grows
above; Seal it in a jar of present. Call it your place of growth
and experience. On the way back to now; dip
a stick in the rainbow of glee. Pour the honey, sprinkle the
salt and chop the grass in a glass. Decorate it with the rainbow
stick and top it with cherry of smile. Mix it all and gulp it down;
feel the roller-coaster. Taste of this life’s
cocktail will call you for some more. © 2016 Aishwarya KamathReviews
