Party Hack.

 

He was supremely confident.

Although he lacked ability

He was convinced that he was meant

By virtue of his ancestry.

If not to lead the government.

At least to hold a senior role

Relying on past precedent

Assisting him to reach his goal.

He was elected as M.P

Almost it seems by accident

He served his party faithfully

Because he was obedient.

The kind of M.P.that will do

Just what his party tells him to.
