You know I do.

 

I have said it so many times

And every time it has been true

Declared my love in metered rhymes

So that you know I worship you.

I do not need St Valentine

To remind me that I love you

How dare a celibate divine.

Advise on love he never knew.

Perhaps Eros would empathise.

As God of love, He ought to be

Well qualified to give advice.

On why I need to frequently

Remind you that I still love you.

Although I know you know I do
