Moonlit Moors for M'lady EmmaA Poem by Poeticpierssonnet variantMoonlit moors. On the high moors new fallen snow. Reflects the silver moonlights glow. A vast expanse of virgin white. Until the dawning of daylight. When the wild creatures come and go and leave their footprints in the snow. The high moors seen by bright daylight. The random footprints clearly show where animals disturbed the snow. The scene no longer pristine white. As it was throughout the night. The beauty seen beneath the moon. By daylight fades alas too soon. Thursday, 09 February 2012 http:// blog.myspace.com/poeticpiers © 2012 Poeticpiers |
