Priorities may differ.

 

I know what Christmas means to me.

Spending time with family.

To catch up with the latest news

 exchanging presents sharing views.

 

Ignoring Christianity.

Celebrating humanity.

Of every different race and creed

A time to put aside our greed.

 

If only temporarily

Enjoying the festivity.

In our own time in our own way.

A universal holiday.

 

What does Christmas mean to you?
perhaps you have a different view.

 You may have faith I sadly lack

and see my words as an attack.

 

On the beliefs you hold as true.

I beg forgiveness if you do.

I do not mean to cause offence

And offer this in self defence.

 

I wish my friends and enemies.

A year of peace and prosperity.

Hoping we can agree to disagree

And learn to live in harmony.
