Luc bat.

 

Under a shady tree

Is the best place to be

Listening for the tune.

Granted as a boon to men

Who long for peace again

They hear now and then, the breeze.

Singing among the trees

A song certain to please

Music which will relieve their fears

Clear every worry from their mind

All that is left behind.

Peace they may only find:Rarely

Having no prior knowledge of the Luc Bat form I can say from reading this that I found it pleasing and a good read indeed. I may have ton attempt this form of poem some time in the near future as I like to challenge my mind and try new things. My favorite portion:

"Singing among the trees
A song certain to please
Music which will relieve their fears"

As music plays such a huge part in my life it does relieve my fears, ease my sorrows and amplify my highs!
