Fog Warning

Fog Warning

A Poem by Poeticpiers

Fog warning.

The motor way shrouded in mist

An air of surreality

As if the world did not exist.

Cocooned inside a fantasy.

Some crazy drivers still insist

on driving as if they could see.

The toad ahead without the mist

Oblivious to reality

Until the day their luck runs out

As it must eventually

That‘s when they learn beyond all doubt

That driving fast when you can’t see

Is bound to end in tragedy,

This makes me think about all the times....that my life has flashed before my eyes..... all because someone thinks they are invincible. The title is catchy and appropriate; this helps pull the reader in. Nice penning.
