![]() unintended resultA Poem by Poeticpiers![]() sonnet in tetrameter![]() Unintended result. A spider web bedecked with dew. Is transformed when the sun shines through. For those who have the eyes to see. Into a piece of jewellery. The dew drops sparkle brilliantly And split the light prismatically Into every shade and hue. The spectrum holds as prisms do. Though we appreciate the sight. I do not think the spiders do. They have to wait until sunlight evaporates the morning dew. . It was intended to catch flies. Instead the web has caught our eyes Wednesday, 21 September 2011 http:// blog.myspace.com/poeticpiers © 2011 PoeticpiersReviews
