What suits me may not suit you

What suits me may not suit you

A Poem by Poeticpiers
"

Triple triolet.Eclogue?

"

What suits me may not suit you.

The bubbles in my pink champagne

Add to my air of gaiety.

I have no reason to complain.

The bubbles in my pink champagne

Remind me  that I must retain

My place in high society

The bubbles in my pink champagne

add to my air of gaiety.

I do not doubt  that’s true for you

But I prefer good honest ale

as any Englishman would do

I do not doubt that’s true for you

Because I have no reason to

But I prefer good honest ale

I do not doubt that’s true for you

But I prefer good honest ale.

Each to their own I must accept

Taste leaves little room for argument.

So  I accord your due respect.

Each to their own I must accept

I have to say I don’t expect

To change established precedent.

Each to their own I must accept

Taste leaves little room for argument.

When talking about Beer I accept nothing unless I try it myself. Ha! Beer the one CARB worth dieing for. I will meet you anywhere in England and argument the point of which Ale taste better any time you say. Just bring your check book because we will need extra money!

I especially like that last line , a tilt of the hat to acceptance .
