Go with my blessing 2010

The  Jesus freaks are out in force.

Because it’s Sunday morn of course.

They are convinced that they are right

I find it hard to be polite.

Although I can respect their views.

They do not have the right to choose

To ring my bell and pester me.

I keep my Sunday mornings free.

To do the things I want to do.

I do not want to listen to

 their view of Christianity.

Because it makes no sense to me.

They do not seem to understand

that they must leave when I demand.

I like to keep my property

free from religious bigotry..

I like my Saturdays as well, so I understand. We do have rights and we do have obligations. Where those two cross comes conflict. Love this work! Take care and Happy Holidays!

Christians are convinced they are right, along with every other religion in the world. Practicing their religion and being a bother doesn't necessarily equate to trying to force it on you.. we all have radical believers and nonbelievers. It goes both ways. Whether you want to believe or not is strictly your choice.
Good poem, it has a nice flow.

I agree that we should all have our own space, and not be told what we should or should not believe in. It is completely an individual choice.

I'm a Christian, and I want to thank you because if people are noticing our passion then thats a good thing, for us. Thanks, you are a great poet! :)

You sound like my father in this piece. I will have to have him read it.

I agree with you. I keep my opinion to myself. Old Grandfather taught me." Nothing good to say. Say nothing. Religion is a hard subject. Best not to discuss if you want to maintain a friendship. I like this poem. Thank you.
