Could it be?

 

Time is not the enemy

 although sometimes it seems to be

When you feel blue time seems to slow

and happiness will quickly go.

You can’t dismiss this out of hand.

Although it’s hard to understand.

How passing time can possibly

 know how to act so flexibly.

And change its pace to suit your mood.

Dependent on your attitude

  There is no  possibility.

That time slows down when you are blue.

Though you believe it to be true.

Great write, love your ability to rhyme, you do it so effortlessly and are a pleasure to read as included in with the rhyming fun, is a wonderful story or message.
Time is an interesting concept..fast or slow, I guess it depends on where one is at. For me, this year has raced passed at an incredible speed. Seems it was Christmas yesterday and now it's going to be Christmas tomorrow. Where is my life frittering away too....lol.
