Is justice served?

 

Though well paid lawyers do not lie

They do manipulate the truth.

That’s why the fees they charge are high

They’re able to discredit proof

They can change certainty to doubt

by challenging the evidence.

Convince the judge to rule things out

 that would endanger the defence.

They search for technicalities

to  circumvent the rule of law.

Their specialised abilities

are what we pay top dollar for.

One question though must still remain.

Do they conceal the truth for gain?

Law is just for the unjust?

Seems to me that there's too much knowledge amongst lawyers: generally speaking they have an extraordinary sense of cerebral puppetry .. they know exactly where to pull the strings when it comes to small print/small mind manoevring. Have read of the worst of people getting off scot free because of a minor hiccup or having sentences reduced because of clever manipulation of detail .. it scares me stiff.

Yes they do. I believe some Lawyers given to assist the people who can't afford a lawyer. May have some honest blood in them. The big case lawyers are heartless and cold as can be. A good question.
