Night Prowlers

 

Night prowlers.

 

Pantoum .

 

Domestic cats can revert to       

the hunters they were meant to be.

When darkness falls as it must do .

They change quite imperceptibly.

 

The hunters they were meant to be.

Stealthy night prowling predators.

The change quite imperceptibly

the moment they step out of doors.

 

The hunters they were meant to be

They hunt in darkness nothing new

 The moment they step out of doors  

When darkness falls as it must do

 

 

They hunt in darkness  nothing new

They’re not domestic any more

they change  as they’re supposed to do.  

To something which they were before .

 

Domestic cats can revert too.
