 Although it’s not a certainty.
There is a possibility
that I will reach a century
and then I will quite probably
Review my choices thoroughly.
Should I give in graciously
or dismiss death contemptuously.
The only thing that worries me.
A problem which I can foresee.
Will I retain my faculty?
 still contribute coherently.
Will still know that I am me?
I do not think I’d like to be
a burden to my family.
I think I’d better wait and see
and not decide impulsively
I still have years ahead of me..
I have to think positively.

Ha ha. I love this one. I have to say I am very impressed by the continuous rhyme... that is not easy to do without sounding monotonous, but you pulled it off and I love it.

My dad turned 81 last February. He has been a widower for over 7 years now. Yet he still is enjoying his life to the fullest. He worked in his repairshop until he was ... 72, then nursed my mum, together with me, his only daughter, till the last of her life.
He enjoys loads of hobbies and still is a member of 2 or 3 societies. He is still living idependently and proud of doing most of his own housekeeping. He particularly enjoys cooking, a neighbour comes round to do the cleaning and for the rest, some of his old customers pay him regular visits.
For he was into mechanics and electronics, he is into what he calls 'industrial archeology' and likes building machines and art works running on steam engines.
Sometimes I am amazed at the programmes he watches ... Many teenagers would find him a cool granddad!
Yet at times, he does think of himself as an old man, because he has seen many friends die before him. Now we (my partner and I) are moving into the country, he insists on moving along, because the place we are going to live, is the neighbourhood he grew up in! No, he will never be a burden to us, because he has taught us so much and we are grateful forever.
I wish for you to grow old in grace and to continue enjoying life. You may even ending up surprising yourself!

You present some deep thoughts there along with the importance of optimism.
I like the fonts you chose, they somehow encourage the reader to go on :) .

We must all think positively. Lovely words on a bright day. May your years, all of them, be a blessing to you and those you love.
