But I don't want to

But I don't want to

A Poem by Poeticpiers
"

Triverse poem

"

But I don’t want to.

I wander freely mentally.
Enraptured by the things I see
within my worlds of fantasy.

I just reject reality
where nothing ever works for me.
Quite certain I would rather be

divorced from harsh reality
There is no comfort here for me
and live in my own fantasy.

A dream which cannot possibly
 be realised apparently
Reluctantly I must agree.

That I am where I’m meant to be.
You can’t escape reality
and learn to act responsibly.

Yet another excellent poem and I agree with it. Fantasy is a lot better than reality. And yet, reality always creeps back in even though can make our own reality out of fantasy for awhile . I love the rhymne in this poem. It reads really well. Really good poem. It's like magic too.

Damn! I wish I could go to that same place where you are: just feeling myself geting lost in my dreams, and not giving a thought about my landlord who're opresently banging at my door demanding for last month's rent money. Oh, how I wish ...

Some days, I don't. Charming poem. The title drew me in.
