My ImaginationA Poem by Marvin Lewis Jr.Taking it back once again... The third poem I ever wrote.
My Imagination
I want to ride a cloud over my obscure existence, fall asleep in a crescent moon while whispering my dreams knowing that God is listening. And there I’ll invest a lifetime and since words are life I’ll procreate with one rhyme. I will create without consequence, in God time is no longer prevalent so as a child eternity is spent. I’ll spend the night on His doorstep just for inspiration, write altogether different because His fingertips are upon my imagination. If I had wings I would fly to a place where hard times could be explained, bad memories erased, so I could dream again... Put piece of mind in a frame and feel free again be called by an altogether different name. It is there I can be who I am forgetting what I never was, take hold of reality with the hand of faith and write with the pen of God’s love… In my imagination. © 2008 Marvin Lewis Jr.Featured Review
