Delirium
I want to swallow a cloud then tickle an angel and watch it smile. I want to spend one day in heaven, just so I know when I have to leave I'll be returning to earth speaking such things that no one has ever imagined. With the confidence Shakespeare couldn't fathom it, a swagger fueled by a truth that this creativity is so deep and Da Vinci only scratched the surface. I'm standing at the threshold with my hand on the knob behind the door brilliance and insanity are eating, I walk in and with empty hands I take a seat, I want to braid two weeping willows then tie a crescent moon to each end and swing from a rainbow, I want to talk to God of the startling colors I've imagined then wake the next morning to a purple sun. Spend the day watching the sunset being poured atop trees and at night feel butterflies as the moon sits on the ocean. © 2008 Marvin Lewis Jr.Featured Review
