Baby blue

Baby blue

A Poem by Lauren

Her eyes were hard opals

before the light opened

     iridescent and reflective

     of monuments and plains

     battles and reconciliations

Then in her own war

she turned on her side

     out of her wanderings into

     the universe that lay ahead

and spoke to me

sweet harmony that bade my mouth

to paint such strokes

upon a future day

Well perfection doesn't exist ... so all I can say is great poem - content and structure. No remarks ... wouldn't change a thing about it anymore!!
