the contradictions of life

the contradictions of life

A Poem by Aiden Christopher Pafford

Screaming loud in silent shadows
hearing nothing waiting to breathe
looking blindly for the beautiful ugliness
bleeding in lifeless form

violent peace of angry happiness
rain dust falling upward
political anarchy taking its course
elected appointed enthroned

singing speech of time and space
vanishing into the voided scenery
enlarge yet shrinking heart beat fast and still
wanting to kill to. Live.

everlasting temporary time infinite
leading following your fate
life contradicts but often makes sence
loving your object of hate
