life and death.

life and death.

A Poem by Aiden Christopher Pafford

Falling fast but you. Never hit the ground
screaming in despair but never making sounds
praying for a miracle but curses are plaguing you
receiving lots of painful lies when all you seek is truth

praying and wishing for true love and all you get is hate
hoping you will make true friends you. Become a reprobate
wanting to be normal but an outcast is what your called
hoping you will find some peace while life seems to bust your balls

the journey down the narrow road, a jagged rustic path
hoping one day to journeys end but seems to ever last
people saying just cheer up just fight stay strong endure
sickness festers deep within hoping for a cure

going into a dismal grave happiness at last
mourners cry their selfish pleas holding on to past
when I finally leave this life do not cry for me
I was weary worn plain sick and tired a d now I am set free

This reminds me of the cry of the poor we hear, that we must all cry, and everyday if I could feel this truth I think we are all better off, I mean if anyone can make themselves remember this in good times and in bad, one is better behaved for it possibly. This is a revelation to me that there really are times when I have been the reprobate and don't want Argentina to cry for Nicole Kidman or Madonna. These are the beautiful people us, and nobody gonna miss us when we are tired and have miles to travel before we get to the top of the (magic) mountain, figuratively I mean. I will cry for those ones and myself if need be, I will but not always because of this transitory sort of impermanence of time and the change in light from each sunrise, revolution of the earth etc
