Shema MarYah

Shema MarYah

A Poem by Aiden Christopher Pafford

Elohim MarYah what did I do to deserve this curse you have given me.
Was I unfaithful, disobedient, did. I commit murder from my youth?
was I. A mistake planted with a seed never intended to grow
is that why this sickness uproots me

unfit for a spouse a terrible. Friend
is what this leprous form that festers have caused
forbidden to live forebodden to sin
just a sickened despicable waste

just wishing I. Knew what you would have me do
either live or die in your. Name
is that why I'm given then taken away
so maddess I bear with the pain

marYah Eloheinu malak ha'olam
what is thy will pleace tell me at last
Am I. To endure on Adamah l'olam et vayed
or to sheol the place of the dead.
