Letting GoA Poem by John ByrdThey say if you love something you have to let it go I’m saying if it comes back it’s meant to be. You’ll just have to wait and see. It’s such a scary experience. Like will she even remember us? Or will she find someone else who is better. Somebody with even more cheddar And bacon and everything else she needs. No more seeds. No more growing what we had. No more getting mad. No more of the creation of beautiful memories. No begging for the time. Please. Faith is all we have left. The spot where you would have slept. Next to her Holding her Taking care of her Acts of love towards her. But now all we can do is hope, pray and let it go. © 2014 John ByrdAuthor's Note
