Cheers to you Black WomanA Poem by Sheenhonoring my sistahsInspiring to the heart, mind, and eyes I truly believe you're the pinnacle where beauty lies What other woman do you see being so imitated From your beautiful complexion to the enticing curves Highly unlikely will you see a black woman getting a tan Coming in many diverse flavors across the land Whether butter pecan, cinnamon, or even pralines and cream And many other flavors to entice any man's dream And who can forget the inviting and alluring full lips Can't help but contemplate on thoughts of sensual sense of taste And who can forget about the beautiful gift of your booty and hips Surgeries and pads for assets where your beauty has always existed You've always been a queen in my mind and eyes Worthy to be placed by any man's throne of their home I love the strength that people may confuse as being something else What man wants a woman who takes commands instead of expressing their soul They do that at work no need to have it at home If i wanted someone submissive i'll buy a dog I want a woman to be strong and have a presence Where i lack in substance she overflows in her radiance I love my black women and cheers to you this month and every month © 2013 Sheen |
