Moon, Mood and MusicA Poem by ron s kingRomance in Free-Verse
MOON, MOOD and MUSIC.
No softer light is compare To compassion’s moonlight And no softer vision is sweet light to your face In smooth effect to reflected mood There, in that darling’s glow Are you in harmony to the night’s symphony As you sway to an effect And enamoured shadows drift into pastel shades To your body’s move, in comfort To a night-moon’s flirtation with silence And I watch you dance to moon’s pleasure The casual sway of losing yourself To this night and to moon’s emotive spirit And I am in sympathy to you As you slow-dance to a seductive melody You intoxicate and become lost To a pleasure of scarlet scents and jasmine Mingling in purpling shades of night And you dance to the moon Pale in softest sensuality as the music plays Would I be the warm breeze Which is to your body’s comfort as you dance Would I be that darling moon above That I need not hide in a dark of impressions And give such sensation That your face is upturned to me Now, as you slow-dance to the night Then would I be that shadowed green That happy grass Which bears such sweet impression's weight Would I be sensation’s night Honey’s atmosphere, to dance with you As sweet moon plays her mood’s music © 2014 ron s kingReviews
