A Sun's retire.A Poem by ron s kingA 'Nearly' Sonnet.
A SUN’S RETIRE.
How might the eye, to a beauty’s select See an evening’s fall without a sigh This magic setting, this vibrant connect Where Sun is to exit the reddened sky The dusking purple colours to a mauve Ablaze to the night as the sun dissolves Then red, to a deep blue and black to clothe And darkness awaits the dawn to evolve In a wait of slow to determined hours The Sun is brightening, an eastern light To turn full circle and dawning showers To lift the curtain from a darkest night Sun’s decline is a wait for its return And sweet the day for its glorious burn © 2013 ron s kingReviews
