OF GLUTTONY.A Poem by ron s kingOne of the 7 deadly sins...
OF GLUTTONY.
In glutinous round, eyes to the table A veritable banquet’s suggestion A mouths extension, stomach unstable Pain’s eruption, chronic indigestion Who but a pig gorges on pork belly And leaves not a thing for others to eat Then wobbles off, fat gelatin jelly Unsteady, ungainly, trotters for feet They, who eat to a ponderous weighing Are fast to a hearty hospital stay Overweight, heavy plate and now praying They had distaste, pushing the plate away Gluttony is greed, an over-indulge Inconsiderate taste and belly-bulge © 2013 ron s kingReviews
