OF LUST.

A Poem by ron s king

This poem is of 'Sonnet' type, one of the set of the 7 deadly sins.

"

OF LUST.

Oh lust, are you love’s inconsiderate
Are you impatient emotion’s offence
The rampant mood, moral’s indelicate
No fear of retribution’s consequence

You are intoxication, dragon’s blood
To fire a raging furnace, heated veins
Volcanic eruption’s satanic flood
Wantonly takes and to hell with remains

Love is to a tender and softer play
With timing’s employ for satisfaction
It’s not foul lust, which is love’s disarray
A rape of diabolical action

For those who would lust without dignity
Are to devil’s mores and vulgarity

I like the way you write poems to our feelings, and tell them off! They are a bit like naughty children and need to be reprimanded!
Thanks for ths poem.
