I took a walk

Through my mind

Today

Finding you

Standing right

Where I left you

 

Bathed in sunlight

Tattooed in my dreams

It seemed real

But I know it was only

Make-believe

 

I took a stroll

Through my heart

Today

Hearing it sing

Melodies

Of your name

With a rhythmic beat

 

I know the

Song is real

But to touch

Your skin

My hand may

Never meet

 

I gazed upon

My soul today

Taking a deep

Look inside

She is linked

To you

In the most

Mysterious way

 

No physical

Reason for it

To be

But intrigued

By you
