Write me into a chapter

Of your intriguing life

Even if it is only

Create one word

That has meaning

That only I shall know

Letting a bright smile

Form on these lips

In the euphoric afterglow

 

Scribble me into

A place within your

Intriguing beating heart

So I know not all

Was in vain

 

Tattoo me onto

Your paper of life

Letting world know

That I am a friend

And am real

So that I can

Accept how I feel

 

Find a place

For me to fit

Within your amazing

Pages of your journey

And just once

Draw your hand holding mine

I think what you have here is good.. It's remarkable... and it can be revised. there is more. Look at the lines, read the lines over and over again and reflect until you can see what more can or should be added. This poem is not meant to be short and concise, my dear. There is more truth and you are on the "write" path. :-)
