Write me into a chapter

This poem is deeply personal. The person this poem was written about is an amazing person but life doesn't always pan out how you wished it would. I have since met a great man that I am deeply in love with but I still love this poem. Ahh memories

So tender my dear friend, and sublime. You had me on your third stanza:

"Scribble me into
A place within your
Intriguing beating heart
So I know not all
Was in vain"

True love isn't vain, you discribe that so well here,
for it must be loving, and giving, never egoistic.
To be written and even painted by a true love,
Is love, it reaches beyond the surface.

Such a beautiful piece, full of the essence of love, romance,
and selflessness. Great imagery, and words PB, so good to be here again.

Thank you. This is an older piece written about someone very dear to me. We are just friends and shall always be that way but let me tell you I have a great man in my life now that moves me in ways that is almost indescribable. There are pieces that I like to go back and read...to remember and smile. This is one of those pieces.

Yes, I know you have such a lovely man by your side, and that's truly a bliss! :) poetry is so timeless, I have such of those older ones too, where I write for every muse. I still do. It's powerful what a poet can do with words. I'm happy you're so happy my friend. x

Sometimes I read my pieces and I am like wow I wrote that. Stunned for at the time I didn't like it but when i go back later I love how it sounds. Strange isn't it.

Ha, so recognizable... I have that too with my older ones, a times. When truly felt my friend, it goes that deep, when it's felt on the surface of (my metaphor a river), it is lovely but not that sparkling thing, that is called profoundly enoug, if you know what I mean.... sometimes, we just must go through our older pieces, for it can bring such new inspiration.... :D strange but true xx

Aw, thanks for bearing with me, during my scribbles and Dutch slang LOL.... sometimes my mind thinks too fast, and I type a lot of Dutch, related syntax, and then Oh, yes, I must write English you know ;) it's in the brains ;) xx
