Self Doubt

Self Doubt

A Poem by Poetic Beauty

Shadows creep in

Washing over the mind

Creating self doubt

That consumes ones

Thoughts

When emotions

Are between laughter

And hypothetical tears

Silver words soar

Upon the night

Let it go

Take this weight

Release it into

The night

Where it will disappear

Drifting into the air

Turning into

Undetectable vapor.

Amazing words and description in this poem. I like the desire for the tears to be released. The flow and the feel of the poem create a peace. We must release the pain into the air. Thank you for the amazing poetry. Made me think. The goal of a writer. A outstanding poem.

you describe troubling emotions vividly. i like how you end it by giving the reader a sense of relief when you write,
"Take this weight
Release it into
The night
Where it will disappear
Drifting into the air
Turning into
Undetectable vapor."
