One Word One Emotion

It dawns

When least expected

Creating an overload

Of unexpected thoughts

That can't be directed

 

Emotions transcend

On the weary heart

Bursting with firework

Explosive display

As haunted memories

Over shadow

The colorful creation

 

It dawns with proficiency

Enveloping the body

With delicate tingles

That shatter like glass

And pricks like needles

 

I mixture of highs

and catacomb lows

deep inside fear lurks

Hidden from sight

Turning a tide

Of unease

 

One word

One emotion

Creates a melting pot

Of brewing feelings

 

Lips are sealed

But the heart

Beats with palpitations

That grow stronger

Everyday

 

It flows through

The blood

Singing like a choir

Inducing its own tune

Of passion and desire 

 

The heart is ready

But the mind cowers  

At the shocking thought

 

Rejections could be

Only but a step away

Hurt could encompass

Once again

But the heart refuses to stray

It beats on

With this magical tune

What an emotional monsoon
