Christmas journey of the heart

I was thinking of someone today and this came to mind...and no it isn't Frog

Hold my hand

And walk with me

Through this wintery

Wonderland

 

That glitters

With the magic

That fills

The earth with love

As snow flakes

Float down from above

 

Embrace the spark

Of merriment

While the time is right

Gather with me on

This whimsical night

 

See the white powder

Gather on the street

As the lampposts

Lights the way

And shoe prints

Gather under our feet

 

Feel the warmth

That fills the soul

As your scent

Surrounds

When the wind

Begins to blow

 

Hypnotize me

Envelope the moment

With laughter

As the heart begins

To sing

Christmas romance

Twinkles

as the lights dance

on this amazing eve

Making the heart

Feel pleased

 

Astound me

with the heat

of your heart

as the world transforms

into new awakening

a glorious journey

in which to embark

very unique rhyme scheme, there was no identifiable pattern, yet it flowed so smoothly it slipped off my tongue like silk. one thing though, the red lettering might be better if it was blue, or green (winter colors) but this was a flawless piece,
