Christmas Magic

The Christmas season

Comes blowing in

Like a Nor’easter

Full of power

Blowing you off balance

Allowing broken hearts

To be mended

With rope instead of string

 

Hope swirls through the icy air

Stinging ones face

Drawing attention

Commanding

The heart to obey

 

Love sings a spicy

Melody that crackles

Warming the soul

By the fire side

Calling for heated

Magic to take flight

Enveloping  time

 

Under mistletoe

Sparks take flight

Twinkle lights

Glow

Allowing eyes to

Be illuminated

By the fire of the moment.
